2004 Montreal meeting

The 2004 Meeting, which was organised by Chris Slade, was held in South Wales from 9 to 12 September at the Heritage Park Hotel at Trehafod, near Pontypridd. The location is in the beautiful Rhondda Valley, once the centre of Welsh mining, and the hotel is on the site of the former Lewis Merthyr coal mine, now a heritage museum. The Montreals were able to enjoy the traffic-free roads of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Rob Jones designed an attractive publicity poster (440K PDF file) for this meeting.
